Police k-9 unit

Marengo Police Sergeant Rodney Riley began working with K-9 Shadow on October 10, 2011 and attended the 8 week Basic K-9 Officers Training Class.  In this program there was intensive overview of K-9 law legal aspects of search and seizure as well as basic obedience, tracking, area searching, narcotic detection, and handler protection.  Sgt. Riley and Shadow are a Certified K-9 Team.  Sgt. Riley and K-9 Shadow would be happy to schedule a demonstration for your group or organization, just contact Sgt. Riley at the Marengo Police Department (815)-568-7231 .  The department would gladly accept any donations to the program to help with the continued care and maintenance of the K-9 team.  To donate contact the Marengo Police Department at (815)-568-7231 or mail to 142 E.
