- Primary functions of this committee are to addresses immediate and long term planning for transporation issues within Marengo and the strategies that surround the growth of Marengo.

- This includes traffic of any kind, conditions of roads, widening of roads, any type of issues that might be enocuntered with traffic enforcement and working with our Police Department on any of those concerns.

- The powers entrusted are to set policy on land use for roads, types of roads, planning with city, county, and state bodies on roads.

- The Transportation Committee's next meeting to be determined.
