- Tips from the Water Department to conserve water;
- Check your toilets for leaks by putting food coloring in the tank. If the color begins to appear in the bowl you have a leak.
- Check your water softener to see if it is over charging.
- Check your hot water heater for leaks.
- Check for leaks in pipes, hoses, faucets and couplings.
- Water your lawn only when it needs it and always water during the cool part of the day.
- Check for running hoses or sprinklers.
- Use your automatic dishwasher only for full loads.
- Fresh clean drinking water is yours to use whenever you need it.
- Please try to conserve it as much as possible, it could help you in the future.
- Observe and follow the Water Restriction Status Condition.
