Tips from the Water Department to conserve water;
  • Check your toilets for leaks by putting food coloring in the tank.  If the color begins to appear in the bowl you have a leak.
  • Check your water softener to see if it is over charging.
  • Check your hot water heater for leaks.
  • Check for leaks in pipes, hoses, faucets and couplings.
  • Water your lawn only when it needs it and always water during the cool part of the day.
  • Check for running hoses or sprinklers.
  • Use your automatic dishwasher only for full loads.
  • Fresh clean drinking water is yours to use whenever you need it.
  • Please try to conserve it as much as possible, it could help you in the future.
  • Observe and follow the Water Restriction Status Condition.
