Due to the Covid pandemic, the City of Marengo’s fireworks have been postponed. We are holding onto hope that we can still have them sometime this year. The Mayor has been in contact with the Settlers’ Days Committee and are discussing the possibility of the fireworks coinciding with Settlers’ Days. Both Settlers’ Days and fireworks depend greatly on donations from our business community but we feel our businesses have been hit hard enough this year preventing us from asking for donations. Stay tuned as this develops.
