The City of Marengo Municipality is located at 132 E Prairie St., Marengo, IL 60152 * The entrance is located in the back off of the municipal parking lot. Houses the administrative offices of the following departments:

The City of Marengo Police Department is located at 142 E. Prairie St., Marengo, IL 60152. Houses the Police Department.
The City of Marengo Wastewater Facility is located at 1350 N State St., Marengo, IL 60152 houses the water and wastewater staff.
The City of Marengo Public Works Facility located at 835 W Grant Hwy., Marengo, IL 60152 houses the streets department.
The purpose of the City of Marengo is to provide quality of life, public services, safety, police protection, recreation facilities and programs, and an environment free of hazards and nuisances for all residents, organizations and businesses of the community. The Marengo City Council and its Committees of Council affords the Public an opportunity to be heard during the Public Input Session scheduled for the beginning of every meeting.
The Mission Statement: The City of Marengo is dedicated to providing its citizens, businesses, and visitors with the highest quality of programs and services in a customer-oriented, efficient, and fiscally responsible manner.
There are currently 27 full-time and 1 part-time employees of the City of Marengo. There are 10 elected officials and 16 board members.
